Jacket potatoes are a must if you haven't tried. They taste like they have come from proper Delhi shop. Quick scrub under the tap and leave on low 8 hrs. They are amazing. I then when I get in from work. Wack the oven on high throw them in just to slightly crisp off the outside while I prepare filling and salad
Lava cake..,, 1 chocolate cake mix, make up as directed or make your own. Then 2 x packets of angle delight make up as directed. Add the cake mix and then add the angle delight. Throw in some choc chunks. Pop lid on and leave on high for 2 hours. The cake rises and leaves a thick gooey chic sauce which flows as you push the cake down to serve.
I made a beautiful beef casserole the other day, braising steak, chunky carrots, chopped onions, celery, leek, beef stock, tomato puree & worcestershire sauce. I know that's not very exciting but I added a tin of beans to the left overs, added wholegrain mustard and cheese to the mash & made mash dumplings and stuck them in the top of the stew then baked in the oven at 160 for about 35 mins. It was delicious!

What we call chicken chuck in our house; chicken thighs, 2 tins tomatoes, lentils/beans, paprika and anything else you want to add. It tends to go on medium whilst I'm at work all day. Either serve with rice or put small potatoes in the slow cooker.
The other day I chucked in some diced beef, soy sauce, ginger, chilli, honey, sesame seeds and spring onions. Served it with noodles, was delicious
My daughter’s favourite ever meal is my slow cooker lamb stew. 500g diced lamb, quartered potatoes, chunky carrots, onion, 2tblsp season-all, a good sprinkling of oregano, garlic, lemon juice, 100ml water and add some feta cheese at the end. I often also add a couple of chopped tomatoes, courgette and red pepper but that’s just to try and encourage her to eat extra veg (it rarely works)
